About
Welcome to Chad Peppers Dot Com. This is a website about myself among other things. I have been in web development for over four years now and enjoy creating dynamic web sites. My interest in computers began in 6th grade when I got my first Hewlett Packard computer with the 486 processor. From there it was on. My interest turned to web page development around the 6th grade also. I first used quick web page makers such as Tripod and Angelfire, these sites allowed me to learn HTML by viewing the source output through these editors. I also started to copy and paste web sites to reverse engineering how they worked. I was no pro by all means but I picked up HTML very quickly. In high school I turned to more of a hardware/networking approach and pursued that for a while. This allowed me to have experience in both networking and web development. I enjoy both of these technologies and strive to learn more on a daily basis. My future goals is to migrate more toward mobile development, responsive design, and enterprise application development.
This Web Site
ChadPeppers.com was a vision I had of being able to display my work but also be able to interact with people that come to my web site. I also had a plan of being able to explain some of the tough issues that I run into developing for the web. This website is completely built in Drupal for ease of management. On this website you will see an ongoing resource being built in several technologies such as CSS, PHP, MYSQL, and Javascript. As I encounter new problems in development I want to be able to put the solutions on here so that other developers will have an opportunity to find a solution if faced with the same problems. Also I will be providing links to other articles that I feel people may enjoy to read. I will also have a blog section that is more personal and may have content related to politics, science, history, and fitness. I am no experts in these fields but do enjoy reading about these subjects. Please check back frequently as there will be more updates to come!
